The MCP4922-E/SL is a 12-bit dual-channel voltage output Digital-to-Analogue (DAC) Converter with SPI interface. This device offers high accuracy and low power consumption. Communication with the device is accomplished via a simple serial interface using SPI protocols. This device provide very high accuracy and low noise performance. The user can shut down both DAC channels by using SHDN pin or shut down the DAC channel individually by setting the configuration register bits. In shutdown mode, most of the internal circuits in the shutdown channel are turned off for power savings and the output amplifier is configured to present a known high resistance output load (500kR typical).
