4-Port Ethernet Desktop PoE Switch - VSW4

The 4 port, VSW4 switch can run in one of 2-modes, in 100m mode it operates as a regular Ethernet UTP port switch with a maximum 90m transmission distance and 10/100Mbps autosensing, and with the flick of a switch you can change to extend mode or 250m mode, the PoE port speeds are reduced to 10Mbps and inter-communication between individual PoE camera ports is disabled* (*PoE port to uplink port, and therefore NVR\VMS\Core Switch communication etc continues to operate as normal), while the transmission and PoE reach of camera PoE ports extends to 250m.Each switch has dual uplink ports of either 100Mbps or 1,000Mbps maximum negotiation speeds, of which one can be utilised to connect to a local VMS server or NVR, such as Vista"s VIP series of NDAA compliant recorders - where there is a need to increase PoE port density. The remaining uplink port can be utilised for connection to either a viewing client PC or main network.
