The Biax D compact fluorescent 26W lamp offers extremely high efficiency and an average life expectancy of 10000 hours. Their use allows significant savings in energy and maintenance costs. Operating at very high efficiency and much lower power than conventional filament bulbs results in a considerable reduction in heat output. As a result, soiling and consequent maintenance of fittings is reduced and the loading on air conditioning systems is minimised. This lamp can be used almost anywhere a conventional GLS bulb is used. Features a double lamp tube which provides a greater luminous intensity in a smaller volume. The light distribution is symmetrical which allows simpler reflector design.
