The VR68 series from Vishay are high ohmic/high voltage leaded resistors. They are made of high grade ceramic body with a metal glazed film deposition. After a helical groove has been cut in the resistive layer, tinned electrolytic copper wires are welded to the end-caps. The resistor is coated with a light blue lacquer which provides electrical, mechanical and climatic protection. The VR68 series resistors are used where high resistance, high stability and high reliability at high voltage are required. Typical application includes high humidity environment, white goods and power supplies. Meet the safety requirements of IEC 60065, EN 60065, VDE 0860, CQC (China).
