This ratchet action cable cutter takes all the effort out of cutting heavy duty cable. The gradual action of the ratchet means that the blade is slowly but smoothly closed on the cable, making a very neat and quick cut. The cutter is capable of cutting copper and aluminium cable up to a maximum of 32mm. The manufacturer does not recommend this tool being used to cut steel or ASCR cable.
