SOM1 Serial Output Module

This device connects to the serial port of a PC. The module is equipped with four relays, which are controlled over a 2400 baud serial link from the PC. Each relay has a single set of changeover contacts, which can be used to switch light loads, such as low voltage motors, lamps and solenoids. The unit is equipped with an address switch, which allows for up to 256 modules to be connected to a single PC port, thus allowing a maximum of 256 relays. Output connections are via screw terminals.
